Re: Good decal for airboats!

I can't say enough about the crew at NDesigns. Their service and generosity are second to none. I may have missed it above, but you can also get the decal here: http://bowfishing.bigcartel.com/product/this-boat-does-t-run-on-thank-yous-6-sticker One of these days, I'll remember to add it to my cart ...

Re: Insuriance for an airboat in MIchigan??

Grant nailed it. Rob Willis in Grand Rapids will set you up. They use both Markel and Travelers for underwriters, so he'll be able to give you an estimate on both. For me, Travelers had a much better policy AND they were cheaper.

Mi Fall Color Tour Airboat Run

Just a heads up, a few of us are going out for a few hours on the Grand River for a color tour. We're launching at the Kent County Fairgrounds in Lowell this Sunday at 2:00 pm and we're heading up river toward Saranac/Ionia. Re: Autocad Airboat Design

Whitebear- Lakerunner and Terrible Ted are spot on. I don’t know much about your object oriented software, so I can’t comment on the difference between that and CAD. You keep mentioning AutoCAD and I’m sure that is because it has been an engineering standard for many years. AutoCAD was the go-to sof...

Re: bow poundage ?

Swamp Runner- How is your draw length? To answer your question, the length of string affects cam rotation and limb compression so yes, your string length will affect poundage. Bring it back to your pro shop and they will get it right. Olf Art- as for the ideal draw weight for bowfishing, that depend...
