Don't blame them. they were raised that way by their a-hole parents. Instead, just give them a hug. Then bite their friggin ear off.

Re: Using airboat engines to fight forest fires
I doubt if it would work. A prop can only push wind so far. Maybe 50 yards at best. and assuming you are trying to push wind with a prop against the already strong winds against you, it would be a futile effort at best.
might make a great cartoon though........

Re: Jon boat to airboat
I built one a few years back. The hull was 14x36 and it worked just fine. I think 14x48 would be even better. I bought a 2 stroke ultra-lite engine from a company called '2 stroke International'. Weighed less than 100 lbs. Has a 3 blade composite prop, with ground adjustable pitch blocks. It ran 28 ...

Re: ON THE TRAIL OF THE ELUSIVE FLA. EVERGLADES APE-LIKE ENT
Likely just ceased to reproduce, and slowly faded out of existence. However the campfire stories of the "skunkape" carried on through the years. Nothing but folklore. More than likely someone from a distance spotted a bear walking on its hind legs.

Re: Help setting up trailer
On my old boat I had not only rollers on the dove tail, but also rollers about 3 feet up from the back of the trailer. They were welded to a bar which traversed the trailer from side to side, with a lever on the port side of the trailer. Whether launching or recovering the boat, just engage the leve...

Re: Duck hunting southern glades ? Anyone?
It's been a while for me, but I used to spend a lot of time hunting there. Mostly by jon boat using the 'swamp access points' from the L-67 canal. The further south access points, (closer to 41 than Holiday park), held enormous amounts of ringers. With an airboat you should have no trouble finding b...

Re: Never heard of this.
What if you were to go to court, and being the only witness refused to testify? I mean the officer didn't see anything. If the citation were for causing the accident, then yes, he could schedule it for court and plead 'not guilty'. It would most likely be thrown out for lack of a witness....

That's probably as interesting a question as why a prop makes a thrumping noise.............
