With a little help from Century, i cured the problem.....after very careful inspection, I discovered that the bolt holes on the flywheel did not align perfectly with the holes on the driveplate. I talked to a friend that owns a transmission shop.He said almost all automotive flexplates seem to wobble , even if they are attached to the torque converter. Does your have any noticeable "Run out" ????

Spacers......yes....even considered using shims to remove wobble/axial play The jackshaft is engaging the crankshaft...however it is not bottoming into it.... I am wondering if i should heat the lower pulley as to move the shaft deeper into the crank so that it will bottom???? I just heated it to re...

I have a Century CH3 I am bolting up to a new 383 SBC. I am looking for a solution to flexplate wobble. Without the lower drive plate bolted to the flexplate ,the flexplate runs "True". I just finished up a SBC 383 build. My first stroker build. Scat Crank, SRP pistons, Scat rods. Edelbrock rpm heads with Fererea Valves...2.03.....Holley 650 double pumper.... comp roller cam ....roller rockers etc.......I have a good bit of experience with SBC's but I had no idea how much time grin...
