Re: Redfish Reports

Had the pleasure of being asked by Curtis Robinson (unforgiven11b on here) to fish out of his new bay boat this past Friday. We took him out Cedar Key and absolutely slayed the trout. Had our 3 man limit by noon and caught and released til 4pm. The keepers were all upper slot, healthy fish with no w...

Re: Indian and Banana River fish kill ....

No worries OLF, I was just giving a Superintendent's view, the industry isn't perfect but in reality, none are. Everyone has to step up do whatever they can to preserve the environment before it's too far gone. Every single industry on the planet has its albatross of sorts, ours became fertilizer an...

Re: Indian and Banana River fish kill ....

The Ocean Research and Conservation Association recently conducted a test using a water-quality monitoring device called a Kilroy on the Indian River Lagoon. Weyandt says the device, used to measure salinity, temperature and pollution, actually showed the water adjacent to golf courses on the lagoon...

Mostly because the Bleeding Heart Liberal Pansy Azz Democrats are crying so much about guns that just about every time FWC or local guys see a gun on a boat there's almost always an issue or some kind of Cry Baby Democrat has snuck some kind of new law on the books to protect the curlytailedwhoopmun...

Heard you crossed paths with the "old man" up in Cedar Key

May have? Had the pleasure of meeting quite a few Cedar Key Folks since I've been fishing with Turner. Not totally sure who you are referring to but chances are, if Turner knows him, I've met him.

I just wanted to give a big thanks to the guys in Lake Wales @ Water Walker. Had some leading edge damage on a 3 month old set of Falcons.......tie downs and props don't mix! :violent1: FedExed the props down and in a matter of a few days, they looked like new! Those guys really do top notch work an...

Nice! Nothing wrong with that! Nice job and another great pic from the cleaning table. I would take my pics at the ramp over on Allen Park Road but most days the crowd at the ramp looks like they'd only be comfortable in pictures with measuring tape on the wall behind them! :banghead:

Re: Redfish Reports

Finally went today out of Yankeetown, great super low tide with the NE winds, expected to tear up the reds in the creeks , but didn't ? Maybe it was the Blue Bird Sky, the wind or who the heck knows? Didnt see fish swimming like usual, ended up with 3 nice keepers and a bunch of under slots. Still h...

Thanks, have you ever heard of anyone using WETLANDER. I just found it and sounds like similar stuff. Yes, it is the same stuff. Bad thing is that it takes like 5 days to cure unless you put some type of heat on it. When I sold the skiff, it was 2 yrs on it and it still looked great. It's good stuf...

airboatcoatings-dot-com

Don't know if they are still around, but it worked great on my old duck boat, plus you could just touch it up if you needed to without redoing the whole bottom.
Rolled it on with the boat propped up off trailer, stuff was awesome but a little pricey

There are 14 different "BBC's" that have been produced over the years ( not counting the aftermarket)
Have no idea which one he has so to just guess.....I'll say 2000hp at least! :D

Seriously though, which engine does he have, how's it built? Without more info, it would be guess work.
