Re: take out motor

I'm planning on another 6.0 LS. Thinking about doing the 408 stroker kit, 243 heads, custom Comp cam, FI Tech fuel injection.

take out motor

About to get a "take-out" LS motor to rebuild. It will have the factory ecm and wiring harness. Trying to find out where or who I can get to extend the wiring harness to the ecm to mount under the seat and put a program in it? Any suggestions appreciated.

Re: Custom Airboat Trailers out of Brooksville

Chris did a "bang up" job on my trailer. Picked it up last Wednesday in Pensacola. I was very impressed with the quality and even more impressed on how it pulled all the way back to Texas.

Re: Affliction Airboat Experience

I understand how a builder can get tied up, but waiting over a year is crazy. I've talked and dealt with a couple of builders/manufacturers in Florida. It is difficult being so far away, that's the #1 reason why I am going the route I'm going with the new boat and selling the other. It helps that Am...

Re: Affliction Airboat Experience

I'm not affiliated nor do I know any of the people involved in this topic. I do have questions though. If you know the boat is essentially a Alumitech, why not just get it from Alumitech? I considered a Alumitech before I bought my Dragonfly. Also planned on buying the Alumitech complete "kit&q...

Re: Custom Airboat Trailers out of Brooksville

I'm wondering what kind of actual price to ship one of these trailers to Texas... I looked at U-ship and "estimated" it a couple of different ways. First I put it under vehicles since there wasn't a trailer listing in the boat section and came up with $897. If I "estimated" it un...

I'm running 1/4" poly on my 15'4 dragonfly. I've ran over some nasty stuff and it is holding up great.

I'm about to try a 72" 3 blade Excalibur on mine. You might call Patti @ Whirlwind. She had a lot of good information and might help you make a decision.

Re: New Airboat

I ran 3 grown men across grass just like on the videos and a small yeti full of ice and "beverages". Did just like it did in the videos. I ran some dry stuff with my wife and daughter. To say the least, I've been very impressed so far. Even though it's .125 hull, the power to weight ratio ...

Fabricating Solutions

If anyone is needing anything fabricated for their airboat or just about anything else, contact these guys. They've been doing some stuff for me on my airboat. The owner really enjoys doing stuff like this since he's a big hot rodder. They are located in Bridge City, TX. The water jet makes perfect ...

Re: New Airboat

I've been interested in Dragonfly boats for a few years. It looks like your build is the aluminum one? Maybe has polymer? I'm curious about one thing. What cruise speed and top end speed does it get with the Suzuki and say two passengers and an average load of say an extra 100 lbs? It is the 15'4&q...
