Thanks for the input. Looks like ill be cleaning, welding, drilling, countersinking and drinking beer in a couple weeks (its an unspoken rule that beer must be drank while working on Airboats). Thanks for the input.

Experinced opinions on poly replacement

I have to change the poly on my alumitech. Existing poly is screwed off with a few nuts where needed. Question is, do those of you that change out poly weld the old holes and drill new or reuse existing holes maybe installing a larger diameter screw.

My buddy had the same problem with his R series that was less than 6 months old. After a phone call he was told not to leave the prop vertical when the boat is sitting. I didnt see where that caused it

Torsion Axle

My axle is bowed down in the center. It's causing my tires to wear heavily on the inside due to the toe being to far out on the bottom. Any know how to correct this?

timing

when distributor is not locked down and the vacumm advance is blocked off does the timing still run at 32* at wot, or should vacumm advance be connected and would it run better. I am just curious how this works I am always hearing different things for different people.

If tour running an electric water pump you can't run a 180 thermostat. You can't run one at all. You can put a restrictor plate in but this could be why its getting hot. Spoke with proform your right have to run a high performance stat w holes on outer edges for constant water flow or run run a res...

its about 425 hp. running a electric water pump, 180 degree stat. put a new electric temo gauge and sensor from classic airboat and the temp gauge pegs out. when I do a temp check on outside of temp sensor in the head its reads 180 degrees. any ideas I cant figure it out. also what size radiator sho...

Im running a 72" terminator on my 12' 6" Big O w/ sbc 400 DD it has alot of push the prop is 11.75 " wide at the hub and 7.75" at the tip

I put one on my boat and made it carb and HEI. Itputs out really good power but the waterpump is reverse flow so pay attention to how you run the water lines to the rad. They do have thier problems to deal with but its very doable Thats good to here a freind of mine told me that they wernt made to ...
