Re: 0-540 prop ???

From the pics, that is definitely not the prop you need, all props have pro's & con's, you need to know what you want the boat to do.

Re: Fuel lift pump

I'm using a Facet POSI-FLOSolid State Fuel Pump, 25 GPH / 1.5-4 PSI. as a lift pump to the high pressure mechanical pump for the injection system, I find that AC fuel pumps are not good at suction lifting fuel in a airboat, when normally they draw from wings above or slightly below the engine. The e...

Re: Tsi0540

That is not a good option to purchase those items, they are very costly, I believe you will find rebuilding it to a natural aspirated & upgraded system would be the easier & cheaper way to go and parts will be more readily available to find. FYI to replace one (1) intake tube was $1100.oo new, could...

Re: Tsi0540

I don't know what issues ya'll are having with turbo but I've been running one for 15 yrs, their isn't much that can go wrong with them, biggest thing is the run out on the shaft, causing case strikes. A blind monkey can rebuild a turbo, hardly no parts in them, cleaning is the hardest part. Lose yo...

Re: 0 420 i think

It's been 20 years sense I run a PE-150 but if I remember correct the plug to the oil galley should be just behind your motor mount plate, on the prop end slight below the push tubes. I don't remember if I had a restricting fitting on there or not. Plenty of people still run them, so it shouldn't be...

LOL It amazes me how people can sit in the ramp and load crap on their boat for 45 minutes and the still have to wait for everyone on their boat to go use the restroom before launching. I refuse to go out on the weekends

Re: Milk Bus on Lake Kississimee

It was the old Bordens milk delivery truck, it happened in the late 60's if I remember right, I was still in High school in St Cloud, he didn't get much, maybe couple K but you could buy a new car for that back then.

Re: sensenich 3 blade on a 520

I run a 3 blade on a 541, worked good for cruise , smooth but I got tired of getting stuck with it, went back to a 72x50 2 blade, don't have that issue now and the economy wasn't much different & cruise is a little higher rpm's ( about 200 rpm's more). It just didn't have that get me out of the hole...

Definitely a fuel issue, if what John said doesn't fix the issue check you fuel lines, had one that didn't leak but sucked air, good luck.
