Nice. It rained on us off and on so didn't get to move much. Fished very small area but the water was finally clearing up after all the rain and run off outta the swamp

Re: Better hull?

Not sure which would be better. But I don't think I would want to shorten a hull. If your going to fish the back country I wouldn't go over 16'. The longer the boat the wider the creek has to be to turn around. A lot of area I fish gets narrow and turns get tight just something to think about.

I did see that. Hopefully they don't mess with the bag limit. Looking forward to filling the freezer up again. Sucks they took the reds back down to one per person again.

Re: Carbon Fiber Prop Coating

I wash mine with a sponge and car wash every time I get home when I clean the boat always cleans up easy. I always keep prop covered and out of the sun light also. You can put a coat of turtle wax ice liquid polish on it also I'm sure that would help also.

Re: Is there anyone who could give me a driving lesson?

I grew up on airboats always been one in my family. But until you sit in the seat and get your first taste u have no idea. Be respectful of the machine cause it ain't an outboard

Re: 350 chevy airboat

My 13'8" Diamond Back does great. It has a 72" water Walker signature series on it. Was an old fwc hull aluminum . Has 355 with low end rv cam in it.

Re: Prop speed RPM

Manufacturers prop rpm has a lot to do with tip speed. Not to mention width and pitch. How does this change your theory ? The more width and pitch the more drag and vibration. This changes rpm recommendations. Propeller theory is deeper than this argument

With your reduction you have listed it puts your prop rpm at 1865 at 5000engine rpm I believe

Re: Prop Identification help

72" in a short hub doesn't match current water walker blades. Width matches the falcons. Not sure what they would've been called when they were powershift. They're at least 12 years old if they're powershift blades
