Re: VW engines on airboats?
My first airboat was Corvair powered with an aluminum two blade aircraft prop, back in about 1980.

^^^^ You lost any shred of credibility you might have had several posts back; and you definitely crashed and burned at ‘Greta Thurnberg.”

Re: New/Old Airboat Hull
Thanks Deano. I think I'll try that amber light. Hopefully I'll have some rigging pics soon. I had also forgot about all them damn honey-do's that don't get done when you're trying to get a boat built. Anybody got any advice for staying out of the dog house while you're building a boat? :D Rick Tel...

I’m glad that I’m stocked up with both factory ammo and reloading components, plus plenty of powder.

I’ve had mine up in the mid-40’s a few times. That isn’t close to wide open, but it’s faster than I need to go.

Re: any built a dd sled ....in progress of finishing my just curious if they slide right with carmotor
Going to Kissimmee as soon as I feel comfortable leaving my baby boy with a baby sitter for that long.. haha Take him with you. I’d put ear muffs on mine before he was two, and he’d go right to sleep. When he was four, he’d sit in my lap and hold the stick; serious as all hell. Of course, I was the...

That’s for damn sure; BTDT!Striker543 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2020 11:26 amHard to say with no pictures. Your best bet is to take it to a known propeller company and get their opinion. Be very careful - wood props are not as tough as carbon fiber and they can splinter and cause lots of damage when they blow up.

Re: Flags for other boats
I’ve seen a few kayaks with them that fish out in the salt marsh and creeks, but not nearly enough of them.
The few that have them have probably been run up on by an airboat, and figured out the benefits of having one.

Boards are painted under the carpet, all stainless hardware, all the setup is perfectly straight. Yep; that’s...

I have several Panther Concealment Kydex holsters, both IWB and OWB, and a couple of their fixed blade IWB knife sheaths. Excellent quality all.
