Depends. If possible post some pictures. I wouldn't be scared to say at least $20,000. 0540s ain't cheap. Could be more or less. Pictures would help.

Re: 220 gpu restart issues
Go with what the people above are saying. I just went through this problem. Starter went out and had to put another on. Grounding was one of the issues. Good preventative measure is too ground the starter too the cage.

Typical. Countries like Saudi Arabia don't have a problem with thieves. They cut your hand off if caught stealing. Therefore it's pretty much nonexistent.radtech wrote:In through the back glass and hot wired it. Hate a damn thief

Easy to get yourself killed or maimed if you ain't watching what you doing. Even without mechanical failure.

Re: This year's Mack's fish camp trip...
No, never heard anything from it. I assume it was out of state within 24 hrs. Would've been nice if you had some kind of tracker on it. The newer model trucks are traceable. Used to a long time ago stealing was uncommon. Everybody knew the consequences. Times have changed though. In the long run th...

You got enough money you can get things done. Just spread it around where it needs to be and your good to go. Money corrupts. Never heard of a 100% honest politician.

Re: Narrowing down a boat selection
Been tossing around the idea of buying another airboat or a mud boat. Problem with the mud boat is, I cant get into all of the places to go on the Kissimmee Chain, which is why I am leaning towards an airboat. I'm not looking to run dry all day, but it would be nice to not have to worry about runni...

From my experience the grey black smoke would indicate either getting to much fuel or the fuel pressure is off. I don't know if this applies to aircraft engines but the blueish grey smoke would indicate burning oil.

From my experience it's better to go riding with as little wind as possible. If it's 20-25 mph consistently than it's to windy. You'd be blowing around everywhere plus it makes it harder to keep control.

This is far more involved Alvin than one person with a problem. There are many excellent builders, riggers and vendors in our state to choose from who have been in the industry for a long time with excellent feedback in the archive. While personally on other threads I have endorsed numerous compani...

Re: Ummm Yep WATCH THE NEWS
So from what seeing I take it someone got screwed out of there money or didn't do what they we're payed to do in regards to building an airboat. I just skimmed through some of the posts. If this is the case I would suggest using Poor Boys Performance Airboats in Perry, FL to build you a airboat like...

Re: Brake design ideas?
I've never heard of putting brakes on a airboat. I would strongly advise putting any kind of stopping mechanism on a airboat. If your running an aircraft engine that has a lot of power I'd think it would be extremely dangerous to try and stop it. Or any engine for that matter. It just doesn't sound ...

It’s called lidar. It has found undiscovered cities covered in jungle growth Well it would be interesting if somebody would use it on the Everglades. Up here in North Florida I know of mounds that only one or two people have ever seen since the time of the native americans. There inaccessible unles...

Upside about fuel injection is increased power and fuel economy. Downside is if something goes bad you better have the $ on standby to get it fixed. I like just having the carburetor. Easy to work on.

Re: Lost Hidden Florida Everglades Pyramid / Temple site
What your looking for could just simply be a big Indian mound. Assuming there is temple complex hidden in the ever glades there is a new kind of technology using satelites that would more than likely find it. I remember watching or reading some documenatry about finding undiscovered complexs in cent...
