So.... kinda random, but I like to learn. Tons of knowledge from great folks on here. I've heard of "impulse", "slick", and recently "shower of sparks" magnetos, and even more recently Pacemaker electronic ignition. My dad ran an impulse and a slick on his old hopped up...

When you I type "Southern Airboat" in the search bar on my iPhone App Store it brings up Bank of America......

Abner makes nice stuff you can also modify pickup ring location on one of the old 470 bucket sumps and add block off plates under your gpu case , works on both pe-90 and pe-150 (220's) probably pictures somewhere way back in my SA galley or if you where local I mite have one out there I could dig u...

Has anyone ever seen a modified or fabricated oil pan on a 220 GPU (470)? I have family that have run these engines for years without any problems, they seem to be great old motors just ugly as a mangy dog with that big azz oil sump hanging down.
