Re: Diagnostic port on 6.2

The software I use is called Diacom from Rinda Technologies. They have interfaces for almost every marine product out there (including PCM, Mercury, Marine Power, Seven Marine, and many others). Looking at their site, I see that the adapter used on Marine Power is the same used on PCM so the plugs ...

Re: 6.2 ls engine options

If you look back through the archive of postings you will find a few postings on this topic. You will see a "formula" and a "blueprint" offered up as advice. Both are good advice and the bottom line is to push a big heavy boat you need big power and multiple wide blades. Being someone who does this...

Re: Flags for other boats

Hello,
According to a FFWC handout dated 9/2012 all airboats must display a 10 x12 min. orange flag 10 ft above bottom of vessel.
Thats state wide. Please take note.

Re: Flags for other boats

Hello,
Orange flags 10" x 12" I believe...at least 10 feet above the bottom of the hull is now a legal requirement in Florida. Just took a Florida boater certification course on line. Check online for the requirements.
Hope this helps.

Re: Are AGM batteries suitable for airboats? If so, which ones?

Hi,
Just got a airboat built by GTO...at "sea trial" they said to run the battery switch at "All". Is this the normal or should I run it on one then the other?
Just a newbie here.....trying to figure it all out>
Appreciate any comments.
