I've been using the industrial grade black plactic tie wraps. The ones on my boat have been on there for 2 years and haven't failed yet. Measure the bottom of the flange where it meets the case and then to the top of cylinder where the bottom of the rocker cover meets the top of the cylinder. 160= 10 1/2" and a 180 = 10 3/4". Sorry lakerunner I don't know the fin count but a tape measure will also work. Yeah, I knew it was...

180 Jugs
A Lycoming 180 (0-360) has more fins in the jugs than a 150 (0-320)...Will someone post the fin count of both types of jugs.

Does anyone have the layout for the bolt pattern for a 0-320 Lycoming (straight mount) I'm building a new motor stand for a 4 cyl and don't have the motor to take the measurements. Thanks in advance. ARE U BUILDING A MOTOR STAND FOR THE BOAT ? I ASSUME U MEAN A STAND TO HOLD THE MOTOR SO U CAN BUIL...

No, you don't have to own the land, but you do need premission. Also you have to be in the Nutria Control Program or you can't sell them. Here is the link.

I ran mine at 6 1/2 quarts my oil pressure was 60lbs after she warmed up idk about the cylinder head temps but my oil temp was normally 140 unless I was running really hard it would get up to 160 I'm sorry, i meant oil temp. i am in pilot mode sometimes. thanks for the numbers guys I worry way more...
