Re: boat wanders

Sounds like you have a chine walk. The turn chines are the sharp angular parts of the hull at the bottoms of the gunwales that help the hull turn and not slide in deeper water. The behavior of the hull is because its riding on the belly of the hull and feels like you are trying to balance on top of ...

If you look at the classifieds on here their as much as a 520 or 540 :slap:  . You just have to know someone or get a brother in law deal to get a good price on one.

Just read about this a few minutes ago. That is one priceless piece of history. I can only imagine the history that will never be told behind this rifle. I have a few relics in my collection including the rifles my ancestors carried in the civil war on both sides. I can tell you, to hold such an art...

Re: deer feeders

Everything up here eats corn. Turkeys come in 40 at a time when the feeder goes off. Bears come in at night. Yotes eat it till they get high velocity lead poisoning. Coons and cattle love it, cattle destroy the tripods worse than a bear. I tried pellets but as said they gum up with the humidity. The...

Re: suppressors approved for hunting in Florida today

Its about time Florida has come out of the dark ages. Many other states have them legal for hunting already. I use one for predator hunting. The big myth about them is unless you are shooting subsonic loads there is still a crack from the projectile breaking the sound barrier, you are only capturing...

Re: Caddy advice needed

If you can pull the oil pan there are numbers on the crank that will tell you if its a 500 or 472. I cant remember the web site that has them but its not too difficult to find. The block for a 500 and a 472 are the same.

The 34.9 gr. is what Im running under the purple tip nosler 95 gr., I should have said I want to try the tipped tsx is the next step on the barnes. When I get much over 33 gr. on the tsx 85 weight bullet I start getting high pressure signs.

I was turned on to the solids by a fellow reloader, want to try their tsx bullets next. Ive been having really good luck with 3031 in the 34.9 grain area with this set up and I can still find 3031 readily.

I'm running Barnes and Nosler over Varget or 3031 in my 700 action with similar results at 300 yards favoring the Barnes and Varget. Its a fine tuning endeavor for each rifle. I'm shooting a 20 inch Bergara in mine.

Re: Slick bottom on pontoon boat???

I have frog spit on my 20 footer last year, algea and barnicals will grow on anything out these days, frog spit does make it easier to get them off. The real pluses is very easy to load on the trailer and fuel consumption went down. I was going to use quick slick but the local private distributer of...

Please tell me its going to be cheaper than the gun show price of $10.00 per 100 rnds for 22 l.r. or as bad as $1.00 per round for .556 nato we seen on here a month ago. I understand its all about supply and demand and please dont take this comment the wrong way.
