vibration

I can't seem to get my 84' 3 blade prop to stop vibrating. Is there anywhere I can go that can balance this prop? Yes, I have checked the hub, the gearbox, pitch, etc. I put another prop on my boat and it ran perfect! Thanks, Ken

Badge of Honor???

Was riding a trail west of Vero on Saturday. The grass is tall and vision is not great. Another boat was coming in my direction and without incident we both moved to the right, in the grass and went around. No big deal. Here is my problem, I didn't see the other fella until I saw his white shirt, he...

Re: Prop Vibration

bought the prop brand new, vibrated like crazy no matter what we did. Sent it back, factory worked on the blades. Still vibrates but way better. i'm worried that the vibration is going to wear GB bearings. the pitch is set with a digital level. It sounds like I need to push WW to fix it

Re: Prop Vibration

Thanks for the reply's, have tried all that. Blades track perfect. really was wondering if I'm expecting to much. I would think a brand new prop should not vibrate. Thoughts?

Prop Vibration

I have a brand new Whirlwind 3 blade, 84", superwide. It was sent back to WW and they balanced the blades. This prop pushes like a bulldozer but it still vibrates. Not a lot, but enough to drive my crazy. Is this normal, am I always going to have some vibration? Thanks, Ken

Seat Box

Right now I have a single fat man driver seat behind a quad passenger up front. I want to add another fat man, side by side with the driver. Where do I find a fiberglass or aluminum box that will hold a seat and give me some dry storage? I will need two of them. My plan is to put the stick in the mi...

400 SBC plugs causing static ??

I've got a 400 sbc and running ac delco FR3LS plugs. They are working fine but i'm wondering if they could be causing the excessive static in my wireless headset. My headset is the only one that causes the problem and I'm thinking it's because I sit right in front of the engine. Doesn't matter which...

Re: Flashlight

Lots of great info, thanks. hoping to get one for me and one for my son. I'd use it on the AB for a back up and my son would use it for pig and deer hunts. I use a 3 cell LED mag light now and like it a lot, very durable and inexpensive. looking to spend about 100 bucks on each light. Thanks again

I know the gearbox takes 24oz. to fill. My question is, how do I check the level before I go riding? Is there any way to install a dip stick of some kind? Thanks, Ken
