Re: counter rotator versus standard prop.

I am not convinced that counter rotators are worth the extra money. I have seen single props that seem to run just as well. No prop torque is great in the water but anyone who has ever been stuck in black mud knows prop torque can be you best friend. Another down side I see on my tour boats is when...

Re: counter rotator versus standard prop.

I never drove a Panther so my view is of the belt drive one in a LS rig, drove them both and for me save the money you spend on all them blades & belt drive and hang a supercharger LS on it. cost less, and more thrust and better snap. Never seen a prop make hsp or torque the engine is the main driv...

Re: Blaming Vendors......

Getting the gears timely has always been an issue. We have to order the gears up to 25 weeks in advance to be sure we stay ahead.

We keep rotators in stock: 1.5:1, 1.7:1, 2.12:1, 2.37:1, 2.68:1, 3.2:1

Just walk in or call

I just saw this thread. It's fun watching it develop. what I do want you to know is that we manufactured the K-Way from 93-94 until 1998, we built and sold about 400, most are still running as far as I know. The K-Way was developed as an R & D box for both the Rotator and Counter Rotator; That's why...

Re: ENGINE QUESTION

Think about the LS3 450 HP all aluminum engine. It weighs 300 lbs less than the 8100. the problem isn't the power, it's the power to weight ratio.
