Your daughter, your family, and you are on my and Pam's minds.

Re: Gas tank Corrossion

RJD55, At first, I "assumed" that you had an aluminum fuel tank, and the "white rust" that you mentioned was aluminum oxidation. Empty, or "less than full" aluminum tanks WILL corrode slightly, over time, leaving a surface layer of aluminum oxide. But then I thought some more, and Googled it. It tur...

Re: Stuffed Backstrap!!!!!!

Wrap with bacon or brush ** butter** over it or olive oil or you can wrap in some beef fat. Brush it as many times as you like while cooking. Another thing is to soak overnight in marinade. The back strap retains moisture from the merinade. My daughter really like teriyaki. I really don't cook any ...

Re: flying airboat project . . . ground effect

mcurcio1989,

Even way down south here in NC, finding a suitable AIRBOAT hull is hard.

That's why I made a trip to FL to get mine.

But what you want is a special thing. You're either going to have to build it yourself, or pay someone to do it for you.

Good luck !

I could hear it. It happened when the engine/prop was decelerating.

But it was an awesome video.

Thanks,

mcurcio1989, Welcome to the forum ! I'm familiar with ground effect craft, and during idle moments have considered building one. They look like they'd be a lot of fun. I've never seen one close up in person, though I did see one fly by at a distance in the Pamlico Sound. The photos and vide...

David, You said: "I see advertisements from Railroad companies that boast freight trains can haul a ton of freight 488 miles with a gallon of diesel fuel and that they are four times more efficient than semi trucks. That’s astounding if true and I guess it is or they wouldn’t advertize it." I've see...

Definately great coolers for "Acts of Nature", Might keep that in mind... I just dump salt in my cooler on top of the ice.. It keeps the ice longer and beer colder... I'm not trying to stir the pot, but consider THIS.

My home is my castle, so I can hang any kind of calendar that I want there,

but I can't have a calendar with girls in Bikinis at work. :violent1:

So, at least in MY case, you could double the calendar sales if you offered them both ways.

C'mon, the dog is 8 1/2 years old. She ain't a new pup.

So she caught a cold, which messed up her nose. Her nose is coming back, but it's not 100% yet.

Please tell me, how can that possibly be the breeders fault?

Give us a break.

I do love me some grits and red-eye gravy. :) But, believe it or not, there are other ways to enjoy grits. FLCGC4H2O,

It doesn't HAVE to be green. If it's got a 3 point hitch, and a PTO on the rear, then it's definitely a tractor. That might come in handy anyway... You never know when you might want to do a little Bush-Hogging in the swamp.

turbine23, This is just my opinion, O.K. ? I think you'd be money ahead to have this done by a machine shop. They'll have the right tools to do it correctly. It doesn't necessarily have to be an aircraft machine shop. Any decent automotive machine shop should be able to do it. For example, even if y...
