Re: LS1 carb with MSD 6LS controller
Grounds cost nothing to clean and check and crank sensor are cheap. Hell I have a spare crank and cam sensor in my dry box. Aswell as a starter and both fuel pumps.

Re: Electric water pump????
You have other problems. I hunt eggs in the middle of July as hard as you can run and do not have a temperature problem at all. I run a 4 core radiator that I bought from hamant. I absolutely would not risk an electric water pump on a hunt or ride boat.

Re: Boat builder ripoffs.
The bad check wasn't even the most dishonest part about it. A few months later a friend of his told me what really happened (HE WAS PRESENT) I was lied to, deceived and ripped off, That was my punishment for trying to help someone. I believe the story goes oh no I didn't ever sink the boat !!! He i...

Re: Gator Tags
Actually if you want to get technical any alligator 4 ft and above is considered an adult. And by weeding out of the larger gators it gives the smaller gator a chance to mature and breed. As far as the people that do the night counts they specialize in alligator management . I know them personally ....

Night light surveys are done every year. Not sure who told you otherwise. I personally know some of the people that do the night counts.

Re: Cheated out of Gator Hunt
Lol there is only one licensed trapper in highlands county . He doesn't get to have a free for all on the lake he can only go if fwc has a complaint. And he can then only go like 100 ft either side of that address. But don't act like most in this world and try and blame your unsuccessful hunt on som...

Re: Motor choices/reliabilty can of worms!
I have had a three 540's and even went the gearboxed 540 route for a while. Then I had waterthunder build be a 500 hp efi ls 3 that I beat on for 4 1/2 and put a pile of hours on it . It has been an awesome motor I just had him build me another engine and I am sure it will be as good as the last one.

Re: Gps with satellite images???
The main thing I need is to be able to mark waypoints but I would like satellite images to make sure I have covered all of the area. Really don't care about crumb trails.

Re: Gator hunting small boat adding floatation foam in hull?
I hunted for years out of a 12 ft boat and loaded many of 10-12 ft gators with no problem . Roll the gators in they load 10 times easier. 1 man can load a full grown gator that way.
