Dear Rick & Theresa: I am so sorry for your loss and cannot fathom your pain. May you find solace in your time of sorrow and love and support each other with his memory.

This is what is wrong with SA now---the guy posts the funniest post in a year and it gets deleted along with the laughter. Ridiculous--moderators need to get a grip on life.

Just the clutch but you can lock in out so it is in neutral due to clutch pedal being retained down.

Re: Hull question
when you buy a rivite boat, look at the material, and very importantly, look at the rivit spacing and t-bars. Two of the boats mentioned above are done with so few rivits that you can literally slide a piece of notebook paper under the runners....not good. Really look at what you are buying.

A "Perk" of the Step Hull is to scare the crap out of you and your passengers as you try and navigate. Its like guiding an ice cube on a teflon frying pan....not recommended for the tree filled woodsy runs through the big cypress....LOL!

Todd---there is not much no wake INSIDE the lake....but from the locks near ft myers to moore haven there are some zones where you must slow down. Same news outside of Indiantown. The plus side is it is very safe and weather really doesnt matter. Going around Cape Sable can be interesting as you know.

Re: Oil in coolant?
Could be a cracked block or a leaking intake manifold. Do a compression check first.

Re: 500 caddy belt problems
Direct drive with a Warp Drive or other carbon fiber propeller? You will need to run a search on here for this topic. The solution is an idler pulley or the mtScadparts.com short alternator kit. You may also run a 5 rib new style belt with ford pulleys. I have posted the cars and part numbers many t...

Re: airboat towing
I always run 100 feet if possible. More than that and it gets hard in the trails...less than that and you can fill a non deckover up with propwash or have the boat hit you when you stop suddenly for some reason.

My exhaust is 45 degrees pointed down for noise abatement and so when I am towing, the rope does not burn in two. Worked this way ...
