Try Applied Industrial Technologies. We buy lots of couplers from them.

Re: Engine Failures...

I run the MSD digital 6 plus box with a rev limiter that I set to 2000rpms. It's for drag cars with transbrakes but works great for an alarm system. I also have it on an toggle switch so I can turn it off if it activates in a turn or in deep water.

Re: Engine Failures...

I run temperature activated and pressure activated switches to my second rev limiter on the MSD box. Overheats or low oil psi will not let it run above 2000rpm, and an alarm sounds.

Another airboat insurance question

Is it hard to get insurance if your boat's registered homemade? Diamondback wouldn't give me hull ID numbers because they just built the hull and rigging and not a complete boat. Now I have to register it Homemade and I'm worried that it's going to be tough getting it insured.

We were at the bus ready to ride with the group/club but after watching some of you blow other boats and almost crashing into each other, we went our own way. Had a good time anyway....

You have to ride the river but still not a bad ride. We ride it almost every weekend.

Re: Blue Creek in Astor

Yeah we have some real good riding here in Cocoa, especially when the water’s up, and I love Kissimmee but sometimes we just like to set back in the cool clean water and relax all day. Very beautiful up there and great people plus it's only 1.5hrs away.

Robby, I've been up there many times and love it. I'm just tired of beating my truck up on that road but it's better than sinking. Lol

Re: Blue Creek in Astor

It's not what you're looking for. Best airboating is out on the lake in the shallow stuff from the jetties north. Southwest side, mouth of juniper springs up into juniper run. Careful going to juniper. Silver glen about halfway up the lake. North to salt springs from there. East side, small pasture...

Blue Creek in Astor

We’re going to Astor next weekend and I was thinking of riding through Blue Creek from the main river. Is it a good idea on an airboat? How many idle zones? Let me know if anyone has ran it to the lake and how it was. :thumbleft:

Re: Thursday Night Thunder!!!

I respect the law and obey the rules of the road. That being said, I have also been pulled over 3 times in one night for "safety checks" WTF is so important that I had to stop and go through all this crap 3 times? Most of the time the officers are very polite and easy to deal with but what really le...

Wish I had a race hull for this class. Oh well I'll try it and see how bad you little step hulls bet up on me. :violent1: I'm sure Bill Buckner will be a good one for this class.
