Not speaking as an expert, but I believe they're two completely separate river basins. I dont

Take it to Rex at Ace auto electric on US#1 in EauGallie. There's a good chance he can
repair it while you wait. ( PS, if you're a Hillary supporter it might be best kept to yourself.)
Just kiddin. :D

Never heard of this.

Guy I know went fishin in his jonboat somewhere down south of lone cabbage. caught a couple of catfish, and not wanting to clean them he threw them back. Thought that he would just ride around a bit, and ended up hitting a sand bar which stopped the boat, but not him. He fell into the front of the b...

Re: Junkyard 6.0 longevity

We have had quite a few of them in trucks at work, and every one has needed an oil pump at
around 150,000 mi. Oil pump is not that costly, and many of them now have well over 200,000
just change that oil pump before you get started.

Re: Lake Washington restrictions are coming!

I haven't had an airboat since the 70s, and even back then your exhaust had to exit the hull.
No mufflers were required, but if you didn't have flex to get your exhaust to the outside of the hull
you would/ Or could get a ticket. That may be a CG reg.

Re: Seat belts on airboats... Why not??

While I too would not want to be strapped to anything that may sink, what about
something like a padded lap bar that would not tie you in, but may catch you before
being ejected. Just a thought.

Re: can airboat be airlifted by a helicopter

Brings to mind a story from the past. When I worked on the ranch, late (70s, early 80s) a small plane went down in the marsh north of the ranch, about half way to lake Florence. They arranged for a lift chopper to get it out, and were going to set it in the field next to our horse barn. Well seein a...

Re: Start without prop?

Running without a prop wont hurt it. Over reving will. That being said, the potential to
over rev with no load on the motor is tremendous. Be very cautious when running your
engine without a prop. It's a risk you probably don't have to take.

Re: Ruger Blackhawk 41 mag

From what it looks like, if it's in good shape you could your 1000 bucks out of the black hawk
with no problem which would make the Glock a freebie. The 41 mag. is a great round, but hard
to find and costly when you do. Good luck.
