there was a feller when i was a kid that had a 2 wheel drive truck with a sliding back window and when he came into the old north side RR the main road was sandy and he would run a string through the back window tie to the throttle and pull it when he needed more power (4 wheel drive) LOL he had it ...

USING YOUR BOAT TO GET UNSTUCK

How many people have got their vehicle stuck and fired the boat up to push it out and what was the story? I've done it several times in thick sand and at bad boat ramps, the key is knowing when to stop with the vehicle before you bury it down to far that the boat won't help

istokpoga ramp is a very nice and well lit no dry loading allowed but I have put in all hours of the night without any problems, keep us updated :D

It's pretty sandy make sure boat is strapped down good an keep your momentum up an if you do start to get hung up don't bury it, fire the boat up and use it to help push you through :D

count me in! something I think that would be a good idea is if someone has about an 18' or so center console that a couple of us could meet at the locks on 60 at sun up on a Saturday morning and do a test run to OKEECHOBEE we could go down there and back in the same day, take a GPS and mark some loc...
