Re: Stainless welding gas

Yea I doubt I'd do stainless again, reason I tried it this time is cause my oxy/ace tanks are just about out plus rods equal out to the cost of the materials I bought for the stainless within 50$ so far.. And the stainless itself is more expensive yes (roughly $55 a stick for 3/4" compared to $...

Re: Stainless welding gas

Well good news! I was able to get a tank of tri mix, had to order it but ill be able to pick it up in the morning! Turns out that 98/2 and trimix are unheard of in this area, I had to explain what they were. Just incase anybody is wondering trimix and 98/2 can only be sold in 300cf tanks and they on...

Re: Stainless welding gas

Thanks for the answers guys!
Seems like the group consensus is #1 tri-mix #2 98/2(co2) #3 c25
I'm gonna try a different stores in a different area today and see if I can find the trimix or 98/2

Will the c25 welds rust?

Can I run the straight argon? Or is there any way to tee the line and mix the gasses to get the co2 less than 5%

Re: How flat does my bottom need to be on my deck over

You can steel flex right over the fas-stone/steel all u gotta do is wipe with acetone. The fas-steel goes on like bondo thick and not smoothe. To fix after applying take soapy water and dip your knife or get a handful and dump or directly onto the fas-steel what that will do is act as a lubricant so...

Yep duece I got friends with 8 ft wide boats getting beaten to death In the trails.. Widest I'd consider is 7'6". Loud mouse thanks for the pictures I love the blue, it's definitely a top choice color for me! Ben bad I have thought about putting a double up top instead of the 2 singles, how we'...

Re: Anybody have pictures of 4 seat 13ft glss hull with carm

The main reason I'm hesitant to go to a 14 is cause most hulls move to 8ft wide in 14ft and bigger. Down here where I ride in the glades some trails get really tight, and a lot of camps have very small basins for that big of a boat to get into. That's why I'm looking for the smallest but still stabl...

Anybody have pictures of 4 seat 13ft glss hull with carmotor

I'm looking at new hulls and want 2 captains in the back and a double up front. I want as small as I can with still being pretty stable. I looked at a few big 13's (13.2 x 7.6) I don't really want to get into 14 ft hull, so what I'm looking for is some pictures of 13 ft glass hulls with a carmotor/g...
