There are only 2 kinds of Continentals that don't leak oil. One that does not have oil in it and one that has never been cranked.

Re: concealed weapon

The ammo in the picture sure performs well in ballistic gelatin. As far as the 380, I have 3, A Colt Mustang, a Bersa Thunder and a Sig P238. All perform excellent but my favorite carry gun is the Sig P938. Slightly larger than its cousin the P238 but more power. Its hard to stop a crack-head with e...

Filing the points is only a TEMPORARY fix. They will corrode as soon as the weather gets damp again. Replace the points and do not file them, fold a $1 bill and use this to clean them.

Re: 0320 miss at 3/4 to full throttle

Do you know what piston you have in the engine? If the engine is shaking while doing this, it very well could be detonation. Just a thought If that is the case you are going to have to get more fuel into the engine

I contacted Winchester about these bullets. They told me that all stock is out and production will not resume until late 2015. So if you need any to hunt with this season, good luck, unless you buy reloads.

It cost almost $1000.00 for a ring set for a 4 cyl motor. You have 6 cyls. Cylinders are hard to find. It's easier to rid of the clap than that motor unless you catch some one sleeping. Sorry 2 tell you that. :violent1: :violent1: :violent1:

Re: My Cont 220 GPU Getting Hot... Rookie needs help!

If you have a Holley Carburetor and haven't changed the power valve, there will be your problem. You can burn up a cylinder at 2200 - 2600 RPM. Been there done that. Also raises oil temp because it's running lean at that range.

Re: dilemma.. interested in your thoughts

The fun about air boating is going light. Uses less gas, doesn't use as much gas as a car motor boat and doesn't make as big of a wake. Lets not even talk about the noise pollution. I can't tell you of the times that I have been fishing and a 15-16 ft car motor came by me and almost sank me from the...

This has been a differing of opinions for some time, it's kinda like a$$ holes, everybody has one. For 35 years I have gapped plugs for 200 series mags @ .035 and 2000 series @ .040. I always use Champion # 515 or D15-Y spark plugs . ( same plug just different part # 's @ different stores ) These ar...

Where are you located ? What you have is a collection of mostly 65 HP continental parts. The only thing I can see that may be worth anything are the small oil tanks. Hope you don't have a lot invested.

You can run them in anything. They work great in the real high compression engines. Make sure you are getting plenty of fuel to those high compression engines and you are experiencing detonation.

Re: Champion D16 for 0-540 in T-Ville

If you really want a good plug, tell them you want Champion D-15Y or # 515. Get rid of the D16's. These are a Champion racing plug with an extended tip. Puts the spark farther out into the fuel mixture in the combustion chamber and makes a cleaner burn. You will notice a difference. If your engine i...
