I built my own for my last boat and it worked good. Used hatch back gas shocks. When you run dry they just compress. PM me if you need more info.

How do I change the rotation of Bendex aircraft mags to work on a GPU? They were originally on an aircraft engine so I need to convert them to the opposite rotation to face the accessory housing.

Thanks for the info. I'm building a 520 conversion and bought a set of mags which are shower of sparks. Does anybody ever use the vibrator box that is used on aircraft or just put the impulse coupling on it? Thanks in advance for the info.

Lacey has always been real helpfull and gave me the info I needed every time I've been there.

They've cost me a bunch of money!

They're just a neat looking mounting system and they will clear an aircraft intake if you are doing a 520 conversion.

Has anybody ever put "E" series mounts on a GPU case? I am wanting to do it and am asking for advice.

I placed them under my seat stand. They light the whole top of the hull up. Would never know they are there until lit up. E-bay is the best price I have found so far.

I do just like Cowley says, but I leave the winch engaged with about 4' of strap pulled out. That way the boat doesn't come off too hard. Then release the strap and the boat will slide off easily with a light shove.

Has anybody tried these yet and how well do they work? They look like they would be ideal for a porpoising airboat.
