Re: AC to car engine what am I doing?
It is over priced for what you are getting. A GTO hull is not the best performing hull. That 480 will such gas on that hull with seating for 4 and 3/4 inch poly. You can buy a new boat that performs better for less than that. I'd run as fast as I could from that boat. :thumbleft: :thumbleft: :thumb...

Bud light is nasty too. I drink Bud, Presidente, XX. I don't like the watered down taste of light beer. Yes my friends drink bush that's nasty beer to. Now it may be mythical but I prefer off the tap then out of a bottle. Cans are just because I have an air boat and I like to _____ anyone who throw...

Rick sure put together one fine playground for all airboaters. Nobody had any clue it would grow to be what it is. I was not one of the original members but did find the place fairly early. Thought it was a good idea and never miss a day without the fine read and have had some wonderful laughs and ...

Re: Insurance Renewal Time
A Pancake cage is much safer in respect to deep water and a disabled boat! No one ever drown inside a pancake cage! Many Florida airboaters switched to the pancake cage for this reason after a FWC biologist drown inside a bonnet cage. Never heard of this. What was he doing inside of cage and what m...

a pancake is safer? How so? is a pancake safer?----heck no. just easier to work on the engine and do maintenance comfortably. both my boats have pancake cages------after-all they are my boats built my way not the insurance company way. is there anything safe on an air-boat? they are the most danger...

Re: Possible break in at camp crossroads.
Took a youth group out for a little ride east of Miami canal. We stopped at crossroad camp or Jessy Howard old camp to let the kids fish off their dock. The rear door had been forced and it looked like the bedroom doors had also been broken into. The camp seemed to be ok other hand that. It was not...

Just thinking out loud here, but if you are going to practice its good to have a few known misfires or failure to fed rounds in the mix. That why its called PRACTICE. Get to know the old Tap, Rack, BANG drill as well as you know everything else about your weapon. Nothing about practice is wasted, e...
