Help !!! Need to register boat w no title

Help !!! Need to register boat w no title. I have a bill of sale from previous owner, but there are no vin numbers and no sign that this hull has been registered. Can anyone identify this hull (who makes it?) it's definitely not homemade and I'm going to try and go to the game warden next Thursday t...

Re: Looking for a used 72" paddle prop

I've always ran wooden props... Mainly due to the fact I can buy a brand new one for $900 vs. $3000 for a carbon fiber... Is there much to gain by upgrading to carbon fiber?

Looking for a used 72" paddle prop

Looking for a used 72" paddle prop for a 400 sbc with a 2:1 precision gear drive... Anyone know where one is? Also, considering trying a carbon fiber prop later on but my main question is what can I expect to gain for nearly three times the price?

Picked up a hull with no title and no vin #s, almost done with metal works... How can I register this boat? (I have no way to identify the hull or what make it is)

Re: 72x52 LHR Right for 400 SBC with 2.12:1 Precision Gear D

Sorry I meant to put rhr ... Thanks for the replies... After doing research I have had a lot of recommendations to run around a 78x54 the... Does that sound more like it? I ran a 72x56 on a 500 Cadillac with a 1.7 : 1 and it was the correct pitch.

72x52 LHR Right for 400 SBC with 2.12:1 Precision Gear Drive

Would a 72x52 LHR wooden Sensenich Paddle Prop be the correct pitch for a 400 SBC (Mild rv cam, eyebrow pistons, not much over stock) with 2.12:1 Precision Gear Drive? I'm building a new boat, and found a used prop this size but I'm worried about overspinning it.

Thanks,
:texas:

Re: Correct Prop for 400 SBC and a 2:1 Gear reduction

Other than noise, and being able to adjust your pitch, what are the advantages of a carbon-fiber prop vs. a wooden paddle prop? Do you gain any push out of extra blades, and how many would I reach before I was just making it quieter and actually losing push?

Correct Prop for 400 SBC and a 2:1 Gear reduction

Building a new boat, and I'm looking to buy a prop for a 400 SBC and a 2:1 gear reduction. The motor is not much over stock... double eye brow pistons, mild RV cam, camel hump heads... In the past we have run mainly paddle props from FAP... Other than noise is there any advantage going to a 3-blade ...

SBC Cam

I'm building a SBC for my new project boat. Don't really want anything radical but don't want to get out and push either. I have a SBC 350, camel hump heads (194), edelbrock performer 2101 intake, what cam should I run? Also, which rockers will work best with my application? I plan on running a 2:1 ...

Re: aluminium cage?

I agree stainless is the way to go... Have seen several aluminum engine stands and weedguards, but in order to make them sturdy you are going to have to add SEVERAL extra pounds... Stick with the stainless and you can get the same or better in the end with half the weight.

Just wondering if anyone else is looking into this, and have you heard anything about jobs created by the oil spill? I'm sure the...

We ran the VHF radios in the past on our airboats, and plan to be putting them back on soon... I agree, should assign an airboaters channel... Also, need to get some rides started.
