Re: Where to find aluminum top rail??

Eric, give Lorne a call at Riccochet. He was gonna sell me the nice rail he uses to replace mine on my squarenose. I think enough to replace it all was like 100$. His is nicer than the regular canoe rail everyone else uses.

Re: Starter part number or application

Call Norman Clay at Innovative Accessories. That looks like one of his starters. The Chrysler may bolt up but probably won't have as much torque as Normans. (863)357-3400.

Re: oil Cooler

Whats wrong with the 6ft tall fan behind the cooler. You think that little 12v fan is gonna move more air? If you cant keep it cool with a gpu cooler and the prop you have bigger problems than you think. Maybe you should take it to a "certified aircraft mechanic" to get it straightened out. Lol

Re: staggard hub verses standard symetrical hub performance

Only thing i can offer is not to get too worried about a number. While there may be no difference in the actual thrust number delivered by a normal 6 blade and a staggered six I am of the belief there is a difference in how that thrust is delivered. We took a very consistent boat that ran the same a...

Re: gathering at Oak Head

I'm sure you wont mind running your 500 plus horse LS against the 300 horse or so aircraft boats. I bet a strong angle valve shooting 250 or so still makes less than your "junkyard LS" Thats a damn good deal where I come from. LMAO. Must be some of that "common core new math" their teaching these da...

Re: Got a few questions about my lycoming....

Try this fuel pump.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/atx-362

3/8 pipe in and out. Don't need any special fitttings. Just gotta trim a little off the arm.

pull the block off plate reach in and make sure the plunger rod is in the accessory cover and moves freely up and down.

Fasco makes a fairing material called fas-fair #26. Try it. Its make to flex with the hull. Talked to the guy at at Fasco and he told me he made it just for airboat bottoms. I've had good luck with it in the past.

Gonna be a large time indeed at the Hog Waller. Dont worry Bubba. We got plenty of backup for ya. Helms better take him some NoDoze to cut his time on the tree if he wants to be in the running.

Re: Saturday March 1st halfway lake grudge races

Youve run my slow ass ride. I know my limitations. But i have seen that boat only beat an a/c by less than a nose more than once. Like i said come on up to the races and lets see where you stand. Well find a 150 lb jockey and see what happens. Wasnt at halfway. Busy puttin together antique junk to k...

Re: Saturday March 1st halfway lake grudge races

So no a/c has anything for that boat of mikes on the bottle huh? That might be a big statement to live up to. Ive seen that boat run against some fast a/c boats that ended in some very close runs. I would be very nervous puttin that target on that boat. You might just find someone who feels like mak...

There is a man named Rick in the Cocoa area that has one with a healthy 540 s/v on it. I have heard nothing but good things about it. Also it is a good looking boat. Im pretty sure he is rigged front double rear also. If he is on here you might be able to get a pic or two.

Re: NGK plugs

L-14U will work good. Have had no issues at all. If you have a plug hole that is a little rough try the NGK AB-6 the sealing surface is a little bigger.
