well im gonna do a little more testin this weekend, but i think it might be the cam, rv cams dont make power at high rpms. but i will check the timin. mess with the pitch. what about changin rocker ratio? untill i can build another motor. this one i bought, somethin i never do. but it is what it is.

plugs are new, i think i have the cam card here somewhere. i bought the motor. i was told it was an rv cam? thanks for all the help.

1 was about the same 3 was worse, a friend has a 750 i can try, if that dont change anything then ill have to dig into the motor i guess.

its a 80 inch 2 blade r series. i tried all 3 settings. 2 seemed to be the best.

what carb. should i run. i have an 8 by 12 thurmond hull 2.68 box no poly yet. my max rpms are 4000. right now i have a 600 holley on it. and the motor is sbc maybe 300 horse. and if you stop on dry thats it. thanks for any help.
