Cooter,

I took the AC Delco's out of my 454 and tossed them a year ago. I've only ran the Champion truck plug since then. They have done me good! I'll have to get the number off of them if you want.

Yep! This is sad indeed. When they say... boardwalks and equestrian trails. Better watch out! This is one of the last places a visiting airboater can launch and stay while cruising the Everglades! For everyone down there, please follow these meetings. m If it wasn't a four to five hour drive for MsW...

jay,

That's cool, it's good to see manufactures continue to evolve with airboating.

Doesn't the fuel injection typically have better "response" time/less lag over carbureted engines to start with?

Dakota, Maybe I can wear two hats that day if needed. There's gotta be some folks here that could help with the raffle. It aint' like anybody's really gotta work hard to help with this! I'm working on getting a pretty neat little "raffle" item to do my part for that too. Basketcase

robert, Know exactly what you mean man. One week ago Monday, I had to put down our 16 year old pit/lab mix Nemo. That dog saved MsWizard from rattlesnake bites twice, identified a petifile for us, guarded our house and home for 16 long years, and was my childrens pet for that long. Something bout a ...

Stan, Good report! Way 2 much goin'on for us, hopefully we'll make it next year. We got wet Saturday too, but the "airboat fix' was worth it! A summary of the thrust testing? Lower ratio box+same prop+more pitch=same foot pounds of thrust as... Higher ratio box+same prop+less pitch. Basketcase

cajunpapa, I started with the biggest one in the kit, (I believe it was the one inch). Was gonna use that for reference and then change if needed. Didn't have to change anything, just left the one inch one there. DB also put the large aluminum raditor in the boat when I had it built. After your timi...

Cajunpapa, Do you have a thermostat in it? I would reccommend pulling it if you do!
