So far, the only "committed" folks have responded in this thread. I've talked to many others, but most are working or already had family plans. I guess we will see who turns out on Sat.

Anahuac Crab Trap Cleanup Feb. 16

The Anahuac crab trap cleanup was such a success before, we have been asked to provide airboat support again this year. We had a great time and a really good lunch was provided to feed all the hungry trap grabbers! Please help spread the word. Please consider supporting if you can. Current plans are...

Re: Sensenich NGR Prop a different animal

21DiamondB/Shiggs With the proper tune, personally I would not worry about detonation. The cylinder temp can be seen on the ground strap and tuned accordingly. The EGT can be monitored exact for a cheap price if one wanted to. You already know this. I do have an exhaust bung for an EGT probe for my...

Re: Sensenich NGR Prop a different animal

On some ground and some water, I can match your #'s with a 5200 static governed RPM. Bigger boat. 9 full length heavy T-bars. Big boat. Some ground and some water I can beat your posted #'s and also just the opposite depending on the ground and water I am running. 2.3 ratio and 4600 Engine Govern. ...

Re: 2.68-1 Rear Seal

Don, Will be basically the same process for either seal. You will need a puller and will need to heat either the prop flange or the driveplate flange (depending on which seal went bad) and pull it off the shaft. Take all the bolts out of the seal, run a razor blade between the seal flange and the ge...

Re: Sharp Sensenich NGR

Update: We finally got to do some testing today. Test boat was a Robicheaux powered by a 502 with 2-1 belt drive. We started out with the prop that the guy was currently running, which was a Powershift 3-blade 80" powerplus. We made him run around on dry ground and then out in the deep channel....

Sharp Sensenich NGR

I recently ordered a 4-Blade NGR with Duraskin and custom red tips, for a client that wanted to try the NGR. HOLOTYPE anodized the hub in red and the combo looks great! The guys at Sensenich really made these blades pop with the duraskin finish---What a sharp looking prop! We plan on doing some test...

Re: Need A Reduction Drive For A Chevy 350

I have a buddy that has a belt drive that I think he is planning to sell. I believe it has low hrs 40-60 on it which is nothing. He is out of town for a few days on a hunting trip, but I will tell him when he gets back on Wed.

Re: CH3 torque spec

Crow here ya go:

Step 8: Roll your engine through by hand about 4 or 5 revolutions, be sure to protect the belt from being damaged, and then finish tightening the six (6) bolts on the flexplate and flywheel. Torque them to 35 pounds.

Re: 8-blade Turbo Hub ?

Farmboy,

Darrin will be able to set you up with what you are wanting to try.

You are just needing one hub setup, and I really need to get rid of both of mine(RHR-LHR) to go to a bigger diameter.

Let us know how you like it, once you get to try it out.

Re: 8-blade Turbo Hub ?

Mine measures 80" on the leading blades. I will call and see what they offer in larger diameter to replace it with, and then I will shoot you a price on what I would like to get for mine. My hubs are painted red and I have both LHR and RHR.
