Bob,

Talked with them this am about that very thing. I provided my input and they are looking at other options--possibly pushing back the time or the day. I will advise as soon as I hear something.

Thanks,

Anahuac Crab Trap Cleanup Feb. 18

Since the Anahuac crab trap cleanup was such a success last year, we have been asked to provide airboat support again this year. We had a great time last year and a really good lunch was provided to feed all the hungry trap grabbers! Please help spread the word. Please consider supporting if you can...

Thanks--Jason Allen and Lone Star Boat Works Crew

I wanted to say thanks to Jason and crew for helping me stitch my trailer back together. I had a trailer tire that looked brand new, decide to "shed it's skin" yesterday. When it did, it took out my fender, aluminum bracket, and light in the process. Jason, Kevin, and Chad were at the shop...

Re: Need a painter ....

Shiggs, DX-533 is only a part of the correct prep process... you need to clean the aluminum with DX 503 before you condition it with DX-533, but DX-533 is one of the products I use consistantly, and is a great product in my opinion. T :smurfin: I think you need to read my post again. I talked about...

Re: Need a painter ....

Here is a tip on prep that I gave rbjcott when he was asking about alodine. Use this process and you will be setting the stage for better paint adhesion and less problems (paint flaking/bubbling/etc.) to deal with in the future. I used PPG DX-503 chemical conditioner "alodine" after using ...

We owe a tremendous amount to that great generation! I only hope that we can do our part to honor their sacrifice. Here is a short clip of a interview with my grandad, that a local news group was doing in a series to honor the WWII Vets of the Greatest Generation. http://www.kltv.com/category/194395...

Re: ALODINE

You can do this at home. I used PPG DX-503 chemical conditioner "alodine" after using PPG DX-533 to etch the aluminum when painting my brother-in-law's aluminum boat. After having problems with one of my airboats paint lifting/flaking from a manufacturer's paint job, I wanted to do it righ...

Sad

If you intentionally skew the results for your agenda, where's your credibility go? The results should speak for themselves...manipulation of those results relegates the whole workshop to nothing but a sham!

We had a great turnout! I really want to thank all the guys/gals that came out to volunteer their time and their boats.
