Re: Best prop???

I run a Q now, great push at lower RPM "therefor quieter". All the buzz is an NGQ also has great push and is even quieter and also like the lower RPM. So you asked for great push and that is probably the answer, But if you can get push and quiet that is a bonus

Prop / cage clearance

I am currently running a 3 blade 72'' Q with 2.25" of clearance to the top of my cage. considering a 74" NGQ that would cut that distance down to 1 1/8" . Is that too close or is clearance clearance ?

Re: game cameras

Moultries have been great for me. Even the ones that have gotten stolen are more than likely working for someone. Stay away from camera's that use AA batteries "getting harder to find", I have had more cameras ruined by those acid leaking pieces of s###t. Spy point makes a camera that is cellular an...

Trailer your boat 30 min south of Venice to Charlotte Harbor. World class fishing and much more airboat friendly.

Re: AR15 or Variant -vs- Weatherby

HMMM, Maybe I was wrong and you do have the AR bug. That is okay, there is nothing you can not do with one, the sky is the limit "as they say". The best part is you can build one exactly the way YOU like. And yes, you can build an absolute tack driver. Also if you one day desire an alternate caliber...

Re: AR15 or Variant -vs- Weatherby

Sounds like you have a soft spot for "wood" . that leave's out the AR platform and eleminates the problem of 5.56 or 223 . The vangaurd delux has beautiful wood, at a price. Also the vangaurd is made by Howa, maybe check out there products?. And lets not forget Browning, they make some excellent rif...

Re: AR15 or Variant -vs- Weatherby

Like the traditional rifle myself, 22-250 will make cottage cheese out of a hog head, but have not seen that round in an AR. If you do go AR and are looking for 223 be sure to get "223", the 556 round has higher pressure and i believe slightly differant head spacing, the rule is: you can shoot 223 f...

Re: 6 Volt Rechargable Feeder Batteries

You need to get Quality batteries from a battery store, those BS wildview batteries from walmart and tsc are no good the day you get them. I use a Multrie feeder and easily get 4 months from a single charge. Also have batteries that are 3+ years old and still perform like new. Like anything else, fo...
