Re: Caddy 500 thrust bearing problem
I've thought about starting over with a new crank, but my fear is the same thing will happen again. Dang, I sure wish I would have checked that end play after the rebuild. Thanks for sharing your experience. Anyone interested in trading a bass boat for a really expensive automotive self pace class ...

Re: Caddy 500 thrust bearing problem
A good specked out caddy crank will last 10-15 years in a normal environment, now if you have a cad crank with 10-20 years of abuse and rebuild motor with out of spec crank, you will probably wind up with results similar to what you just experienced.

Re: New Airboat
After reading your post I'm very interested in the Dragonfly. I really like the set up you have. Just a couple question. I see you running in the grass, will it still run like that with a load (say three grown men and a ice chest, or three or four kids, or two adults and 4-5dozen decoys and dog)? A...

Yes there seems to be several airboaters in Nebraska. I am planning on going to Thunder on the Loup this summer.....We may have to make our own fun here in south central Iowa until then. I plan to run it on the Des Moines river and some other creeks/rivers in the area. Not too many swamps in this a...
