Re: concealed weapon

Im not sure how many would agree with calling a removable clip a magazine, i have always thought a magazine was a fixed shell compartment in a rifle , i guess a six shot revolver cylinder could be renamed also, on another note ive got two lcp 380s that shoot great and are amazingly accurate

Re: Buick and Cadillac lovers

not sure what a nos crate motor is . . . . NOS . . . New Old Stock Meaning . . . new, unused in the box (or crate as the case may be), but chronologically old. This terminology is often seen on e-bay when somebody buys out a warehouse inventory and then sells the parts individually. They will be li...

Re: Buick and Cadillac lovers

not sure what a nos crate motor is I would assume properly built to stand harsh punishment, on youtube I seen a buick gs daily driver spraying his way through the 1/4 finishing in the 9s, that's pretty stout for a 3600 lb car, kid built it for his dad. You guys remember the switch pitch torque conve...

Re: Caddy parts

alternater is the most expensive part new around $100. , idler $24 ,pulleys 15 - 20 we machine both pulleys slightly, the hardest part is drilling out the tensioner hole from 3/8 to 7/16 and apparently that's a trade secret, we are thinking of possibly marketing this setup, have not ran one on a bel...

Re: Im embarrassed to admit it

While I do agree with the fundamental premise you propose about the water pump not being designed to pump air, it would appear to me that this could only be an issue when the cooling system is initially being bled of air, after which time it would become a complete non-issue. Seems to me, you could...

Re: Im embarrassed to admit it

:dontknow: maybe over complicating situation, a radiater doesn't know top from bottom, you can lay it flat so long as proper air flow occurs, I used to buy custom rads without a cap and you could rotate them 180 degrees and you were looking at the same thing in other words there wasn't a top or bott...

Re: 500 caddy fuel pump/ cam question.

There is no need to run it if using an electric fuel pump but keeping it is your easiest and cheapest option. There are several options some better than others. 1) Leave it as is and there is no cost or effort. 2) Call MTS obtain the "roller bearing" cam button. ($95) By far the best High Performan...

Re: Im embarrassed to admit it

Ive seen quite a few running reverse flow , never seen it an issue however welding distributer at locked in 34 degrees does not make a happy idol and midrange application, don't know that it would cause overheating but its definately way over timed for the lower rpms and high timing is in the mix of...

must be they are looking at highest claims areas, and being florida has the most airboats naturally the most claims, it appears that a lot of claims are stolen airboats.

I won't run an MTS cam for a direct drive application their profiles are not optimum. You guys who like them more power to ya but not gonna find one in any of my engines. They load you up with duration so you hear a rumble its a gimmick. It doesnt cost to much more to get a custom grind for your bu...

That is all good information and more than passively relevant to getting the answer you're after. Your initially post read like you already had everything and needed a prop. If quiet takes precedence over top end, you generically want big, slow turning blades. Depending on the blades you opt to use...

Re: Crow needs some 500 Caddy help

O.E.G. - When installing the Cloyes set, both dots at 12:00 (up, up) will put the crank keyway right at 7:00 and will be firing the number one cylinder. Following the less than clear instructions with the cam@6 and crank@12, will have you firing on cylinder #4, not one. Fine if you stab the distrib...
