Re: Family is growing and I need a 7 passenger boat!

Wayne what size is that boat. That cooler seat looks like a great option, but maybe with an igloo so I can save several hundred dollars lol

Re: Family is growing and I need a 7 passenger boat!

Man that's expensive. My current 12x7 with only 285hp takes all 6 of us wherever we want to go usually. I was hoping I could get away with a 14x8 or 15x8 and something in the 450hp range and maybe years down the road as the kids grow need to upgrade again. :dontknow:

Family is growing and I need a 7 passenger boat!

I got kiddo number 5 due 9-13-2015. I realistically got until the last half of 2016 before I'll "need" a bigger boat because I won't be taking kiddo number 5 out with the family until a lifejacket fits anyway. I want an aluminum open hull car motor boat with a two person rear driver, and then a trip...

Re: Winter at Camp Old Glory

The Limpkin is the bird (28/30" tall, dark color with silver specks on it's wings) that always wait till the last second to fly up from the trail an has to dump a load real quick to gain altitude. It's load usually coats the person in the front seat with what looks like a cup full of white juicy cr...

Re: Propeller Efficency

Since a propeller can't spin itself which ever way you end up mounting and powering a particular prop will always create some type of an obstruction when attempting to get baseline thrust numbers. I believe Dave at Water Thunder thrust tests his Car motors on an engine stand with only the radiator a...

Had to look up what a Limpkin was. Your knowledge of the glades, stories and openness to people stopping by to say hello is very much appreciated Gerald.

I was just in Freeport last Tuesday and remember they had a sign for airboat tours. Didn't look to see where the tours were at but was wondering if it had anything to do with this post.

Re: 3a North Poker Run 1/17/15 - JESUP ACCIDENT FUNDRAISER

DD when you put in at the first ramp on the north past the alley head north you will pass a two story camp about 10min ride. Once you pass that camp keep north on the trail and about a mile you will see a trail heading west and that trail will take you to bange camp. If anything we are the first ca...

Can anyone either post GPS coordinates to the camp we're meeting at or PM me, call or text me them please? I've only been in 3A N once on my boat.

A Browning A5 story...

My dad posted this on his Facebook and I really liked it. I hope he writes a book someday. . My love of Browning A5 shotguns started back in 1983. Everyone who has hunted with me any amount of time knows this. When we hunted in 2007 with my friend Dave in Wisconsin, he reached back in the safe past ...

Re: whirlwind whisper tip 72"

I compared a 74" Whisper Tip to a 74" Q on the boat in my signature out on Dave Simpson's thrust tester and the Whisper Tip outperformed the Q at every RPM but the difference was minimum. I have heard nothing but good things about the NGQ from everyone that has run one.

Re: Flashlight

I usually use the light on my iPhone 5S but my wife just bought me this Surefire 6PX Tactical for my birthday and I love it. It's 320 lumens and has either a push and hold button on the rear or a twist tail cap for permanent on. The Surefire G2X is a slightly more economical version of the same ligh...
