Re: Heat Extractor

I have one on my SV 540. I don't have a cyl head temp gauge, so I really don't know how much it's doing, but I do run a lot of dry and it makes me feel a little better about it.

Orange Lake

My son has a youth bass tournament on Orange lake this weekend. I've never even seen this lake, so was wondering if any of you guys had any info….areas to stay away from, or areas that might hold some fish. Thanks in advance for any help.
BTW....feel free to private message me.

Re: Lucas oil additive raising oil temp?

For what it's worth, I've been running Lucas in my 540 for the last 4 or 5 oil changes and have not noticed one bit of temp increase. I run it at the recommended rate also, which I believe is 1:4 ratio.

Re: slick bottom vs polly

I would suggest you start out with slick. See how long it lasts you and how you like it. When you wear it off, decide then if you want to stay with it or go poly. If you ever wanted to try it, now would be the perfect time.

Re: Polymer Price's

Believe this material is close to optimal overall. If you go with this, do not say the words "Air Boat" when talking with them. http://www.superslide.com/products/hoppers-bins/yellow-quartz I know it's not local to the area you asked about, but since you are looking for 3/8 this material is an opti...

Looking Great!!! Thanks! It's getting there  How do you like your air ride now that you have had it for awhile? It would be hard to go without it now!! The way I have it set up in the front, doesn't give the travel that the rear set up does, but it still takes all the "sharp" jolts out of e...

Re: Jagd Terrier (German hunt terrier)

They are kinda rare. I'm not sure what they'd bring to the table that other more common breeds you see on boats offer. There's dogs that are just as gritty, have just as good noses, and hunt as good that won't break the bank. I'm a catahoula/Florida cur/bulldog man myself but different strokes for ...
