Re: ECOTEC 2.0 LTG SWAP
In-tank pressure sensor is for vapor recovery system which you wont have installed. If you read the LTG Crate Motor instructions the inline sensor is included in the harness kit.

Re: ECOTEC 2.0 LTG SWAP
Don't think the PCM actually cares about low pressure side. It's basically a lift pump for the high pressure pump on these engines. Here's a few pics with a cracker in the back seat. 20190629_153312.jpg 20190705_163612-EFFECTS.jpg Russ, Depends on the tune. Ill have to look back at the LTG...

Easily done with a tee, -6AN lines will be large enough for stock HP up to slightly molded. The LP FP sensor is a female thread. Part # 13579380

Re: ECOTEC 2.0 LTG SWAP
Just make sure the external pump can feed 50-60psi and it will work fine. Youll have to plumb the FP sensor into your system downstream of the regulator as the engine requires a fuel pressure input upstream of the HP pump. Make sure the regulator is located as close to the HP pump as possible so you...

skinny The B207 is an LK9 turbocharged version instead of the supercharged LSJ. You probably can find a good tuner and swap out the P12 (which you likely have) to a E67. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/want-run-e67-computer-your-lsj-powered-car-its-easy-304426/ ZZP may b...

Skinny... if you need an Ecotec breakdown here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_Ecotec_engine Basically a 2.4 NA that tops out about 190-200HP... I make that with the 1.4L Turbo... Best bang for the buck is a LHU or newer LTG - 2.0L Turbo, but I looked at doing a new boat and just doesnt make since ...

Re: anyone running a 350 with 2.1 box?
Torque is nothing but cylinder pressure x cylinder area x crank lobe offset It is absolutely useless number w/o rpm being involved and torque x rpm = HP If you want to run your engine at high torque which equals high cylinder pressure and lug the motor all the time... by all means let it blow! That'...

Those are the service manuals in HTML but the images like diagrams require a plug-in that works only for IE or Edge. If you want the actual full manuals in pdf youll need to go thru Helm http://www.helminc.com/helm/search_service_owner.asp?Style=helm&class_2=CHV Or if you are ok with hard books you ...

You go it going right... you dont need the front mounts I have... I bought them just for pattern purposes on building the mounts you already have built. Good luck to you. Re: ECOTEC 2.0 LHU SWAP
Ballistic is the only option for LTG unless you build adapters. LTG bellhousing pattern is different from other Ecotecs. Need to get a sealed gauge panel box such as a nema enclosure and run a Banks 1.8 IDash off the OBDII

Re: ECOTEC 2.0 LHU SWAP
You can remove the FPCM from the tune all together, just make sure the fuel pressure sensor is wired to the ECM correctly and in the regulated supply line to the High Pressure Cam Driven Pump. LHU fuel systems are direct injected so there are some extra steps that need to be made to assure there is ...

Re: ECOTEC FUEL PUMP CHANGEOVER QUESTION
No issues with fuel heating at all... been running a Bosch 044 @ 58psi and Aeromotive return regulator. Regulator is on the return side and the fuel rail is a flow thru not a dead end. There is enough volume in the tank to keep it cool most of the time, also running E85 so fuel system run cooler. Re...

You will have a bit more HP than me but I'm pushing 190HP with a 1.4L Turbo. Running an older 80" Whirlwind Stump Puller with a 2:1 ratio so motor is only turning 4400-4800... I peak HP and flat line from 4600-4800 with current tune and the baby turbo runs outta air past 4800. Good luck on your buil...

Re: 3.6 twin turbo engine
AFI has probably done enough bad business with the airboat world that enough word has spread. If you want Turbo Ecotec then DIY or maybe CBM if you can convince them to let you or someone else tune it vs their stock tunes. If you want NA then TKE make a good 2.4L package.
