Re: counter rotator versus standard prop.

I definitely agree that you have to buy the geared CR from Panther. That is one of the reasons this sounds like a marketing ploy. Only Panther sells the geared CR. Only Panther tells you that you can get an approximately 25% increase in thrust with no real numbers to back it up. Only Panther sells t...

Re: Airboats on TV Sunday

What prop and what was it pitched at? How many RPMs at WOT? Also how heavy is that boat? It was awesome to watch! I liked seeing the boat and car running side by side and how Stan was trying to keep the boat in the skinny water to pick up speed. Thanks.

Re: counter rotator versus standard prop.

The counterrotator weighs 80lbs and it almost doubles the thrust compared to a regular drive I am sorry, but I have to throw the BS flag on this one. WT is currently building a 418 CI LS engine for we that will be swinging a 4 blade 80 inch R. He said that it will make 1800 lbs of thrust on his thr...

Re: Lost phone

About 5 years ago, Cingular was harassing my wife and I. We didn't do anything wrong and had to report them to the better business bureau. Verizon is after us now and I don't think we broke the contract. We just switched to Sprint after the Verizon contract ended. Congress needs to pass a law to cra...

Re: airboat in the tropic.

That is pretty impressive. I figured it would be heavier than that. What grade of aluminum are you using? How well does it run dry? Also my 5 year old son liked the pictures. Thanks.

Re: airboat in the tropic.

Milsar, that is a cool looking boat. It also looks very safe. Out of curiousity how heavy is it without fuel? Thanks.

Re: Mast motorsport 416 engine

Sounds like pretty good fuel mileage. I am definitely excited about the tilt trailer on my new boat that is being built. I prefer to load/unload dry instead of using a boat ramp when possible. It is just easier.

Re: Mast motorsport 416 engine

HuntinBigun, do you know what MPG you are getting on your new boat? Also do you know how much the boat weighs without fuel? Thanks.

Re: airboat in the tropic.

I would recommend giving Keith a call at GTO airboats. They build a saltwater series airboat that is used along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. Also I would be a little concerned about the 3 foot waves. You said this is normal which means if a storm hits, they will get larger. Correct? This is pret...

Re: Thanks for the ride Yobee

I had a smile that day because of the Al David hull. Not the A/C motor. The first thought that popped into my mind when I got off of jr's boat was how well that boat would perform with a WT motor. Yeah you won't have to pull my old boat back to the ramp. I also won't have to clean all of the oil off...

Re: Thanks for the ride Yobee

I always suspected that Yobee was an A/C guy pretending to like car motors. Now he has come out of the closet finally. Yeah, it looks like I might be riding an A/C boat at the Volusia club meeting in August. :banghead: I need to see if I can get a few car motor guys to join before then.

Thanks for the ride Yobee

Yobee, thanks for the ride this afternoon. It was very educational. I am definitely thinking about getting a 14 foot by 7 1/2 foot Al David hull with a 14 inch transom and the 2 extra hatches. Also you had a very nice airboat that rode extremely well. The only problem that I saw is that it had an A/...
