Re: who built this boat and alleged 2000 hp engine? Do tell.

the small tank behind rear seats is a 15 gallon tank for nitro methane which is what flows at 7 gallons a minute. It has a little over 2 minutes worth. He has ran all day with us , so I don't t think it burns a horrific amount at cruise as it pushes an ungodly amount of air at low rpms. The name of ...

Re: who built this boat and alleged 2000 hp engine? Do tell.

Carrys more tools than any boat I've ever seen, no telling what it weighs. You can't imagine the power, backwash wi...

building cage for 80" as clearance under some bridges is an issue. I think we have wiggle room for 82" I'll check tomorrow. Thanks

Re: 3 Blade or 4 Blade

I would consider it to be heavy. Its a 2012 Panther Thunder , with 20 " sides and angled transom. Stainless rigging by Little John's and complete walk-arounds.

Re: 3 Blade or 4 Blade

Thanks for the info. I'm still confused as your experience confirms the 4 blade school. I'm looking for all around performance without burning too much fuel and I know that doesn't go together.

P S You have an awesome looking boat, hope my turns out half as nice.

3 Blade or 4 Blade

Building a new version of airboat I had in the 90's , The Jungle Cat . The new one has a 2.68 rotator and a dyno'd 383 making 562hp. One school of thought has me running 3blade R with lots of pitch and the other tells me 4 blade R with less pitch and lower rpm's. I understand lower rpm's is quieter ...
