A Garmin 547 would probably work well. I believe it's 5-6 inch screen. Don't know what your looking to spend but with this kind of stuff you definitely get what you pay for.

Re: Radio + Speakers for Airboat

Ive been though piles of marine speakers in my offshore boat and the JL Audio's last longer and sound better than anything out there. I haven't had the WetSounds tho... I put a Kicker (PXi 50.2) Bluetooth amp driving 2 JL Audio 7.7" speakers on my airboat and it sounds awesome! I down loaded a ...

Re: Considering GO-480

I will say this Kevin's 480 boat doesn't burn any more than a 540 and the same comparable boat. A few times I've been with him riding the lake and burnt a little less. 5 to 6 gph is probably what the average 540 boat burns. I'd be willing to bet there isn't anyone else with a 480 getting those fuel...

Re: Considering GO-480

Tony what's does that LS motor burn per hour average ? I rode next to Paul Tillman and I burnt gallon for gallon as he did. I know his isn't a LS and isn't injected but I'd say it isn't bad a fuel tho. My hull is the same hull as his and both have poly.

Re: Considering GO-480

^^^^^Turned out nice Eric!!!! Thanks Gary. I like this motor so much it's definitely crossed my mind to sell my GSO boat and keep this one but I'd lose way too much money on my big boat for it to be feasable. This boat burns almost half the fuel of my big boat. I put your adjustable pushrods in it ...
