Re: Anybody riding south end of Lake O this weekend??

Like Diggin said there's not a whole of riding over this way. But theres a lot of stuff that's out there that will tear your boat up. Just be sure you stay in the trails and don't get off of them. If you stay around the edge of the island your fine there you just don't want to go riding up in the is...

It's the same way out at are camp. People just throw thrash down and let others worry about cleaning it up. It very upsetting to say the least... Especially when we have thrash cans out there.

I drove one and I will say I was very impressed with the way it rode in rough water... It felt good in the skinny water too. I didn't really run it on dry but I'm sure it wouldn't have any problems...

Re: Lycoming GO 480 prop choices

I know the GO is a whole other beast. But from all the testing I've done with the R's I've done on the GSO's with the stock gear no matter how long the prop is to me 2 1/2 mark seems to be the sweet spot on those blades. I'm my opinion... Since your talking about going to a 2 blade why don't you try...

Re: Lycoming GO 480 prop choices

I have a GO480 on a 13'6" Laser. Currently running a 79" 3 blade R. The boat runs very well but was just curious if anyone has ever tried running a 2 blade S series. I believe the sweet spot on these r blades is 2800 and 2300 on the S blades. With the gear reduction and maintaining 3500 e...

Re: One Hell of a Ride

Tomorrow is the big day. Good luck brother hope you get ur boat and jerry is a man of his word. Don't you think that if he was a man of his word, the boat would have been done when originally promised?? And if, like someone else mentioned, he saw this thread, that he would post a reply defending hi...

could you adapt a set like these to work with your setup? it would seem a simple down & straight back setup would not be to complicated to have fabricated. of course a custom set always looks b@dass!! :thumbleft: http://www.customaircraft.com/images/lll.jpg http://www.customaircraft.c...

Thanks Paul! But it wasn't just me there was a few others out there that did just as much... Krik brought his pacer pump out there saved the day! We had the boat floating within about 10-15mins without pulling on it. It was team work at its best!

Re: Straight back Lycoming AV headers?

Anybody build or know of a set of headers for Lycoming AV that kick straight back? Preferably with mufflers on them too. Already talked to Norman Clay. He said it would be a new profile and very pricey for him to build. I'm just hoping someone else has done this and has a current jig to make them? ...
