MUGSHOT it's coming right along. Looks awesome. Keep the pictures coming. Jdr422, MUGSHOT is right but I had a few beers with him last night and he said he broke his phone. Think he got it fixed though. I'm not sure though. If he doesn't answer leave him a msg. Don't want you to think he's not answe...

Re: REAR DRIVER OR FRONT ?

It doesn't make a difference frogging from front or rear, Ive frogged in a rear drive boat my whole life. The question is if your going to put a huge couch for a passenger seat like every one els does. Even then its not much different. A lot of us run back driver down in the glades because you get t...

Re: New Full Deck Sled Being Built By Derek Eaker

Thats a really skinny boat, will it float if sitting still in deep choppy water. I know its a deck over and will not fill with water, just an amaizing looking boat to me. In comparison my sides are 32" at the transom. I'd lov to strap a big moose on the deck of that boat and take it to the ramp. Bu...

Re: FOUND STOLEN AIRBOAT!!!!!!

Good to hear Jeff. We put something up on the FTD Racing Facebook page. At least it didn't go this far south. Not that FTD helped or anything, but its crazy to see the power of social networking and good honest people. I could only imagine what these last couple weeks must have been like. Happy to s...

Re: Ecotec guys

Sseater, I love my junkyard dog ECOtec. I built it as cheap as one possibly could. I have $7000.00 invested, from the trailer ball back. Mine is a 2.2 non-turbo. I'm turning the same prop that would go on an IO-540. Now imagine a TURBOCHARGED version. I ran 70 miles on a GPS, and burned 12 gallons....

Re: help case cracked

I used to work on plans in Gainesville when I was in college. Changing oil, tugging plans around, fueling them, that kind of stuff. We had a cessna 210 with a 520 with a much more severe crack. They would just make me put 3 qts of extra oil in it every time it flew. LOL Then I would get under the pl...

Re: That daaammm!Car motor ride boat!

I know I'm not as cool as all y'all professional ride boat racers so sorry to chime in and break up the conversation, but is any of this going to happen down south? Ready to do some riding and party with everyone since 3A opened back up. Especially with this cool weather starting to roll in. Maybe s...

Gary S I wish I could disagree with you but I can't. Each hunting season we loose a little more. I'm just young enough to miss hunting the loop and I fought the tail end of that generation. The loop is Gods country, especially down in stairstep. And these government hire ups who have never been on a...

Re: Repair wood prop

Brenda in Mims repaired my prop when I was running the rock boat a couple years ago. I havnt talked to her since but she did good work and she really truely loves wood props. lol But give her a call and try. Think the buisness is called "the prop shop".

The number I have in my phone is (321) 480-8111

Re: Cylinder Temp Gauges, where, how, which one?

I've been told by a couple engine builders that even cruising easy those heads on an airboat will be so hot its crazy. They just can't cool like a air plane.
