Re: LED Headlight

Has anyone bought these lights? I'm thinking about replacing my KC's with them and use them for bowfishing by adjusting them to where the spot is about 10 foot from each side of the front and about 5 foot pass the front. I have a 3 foot 100 watt light bar on the front but I need a little more light....

Re: Gardner Marsh Water??

Riding tomorrow, we have water in the Marsh? Probably a stupid question with all the rain we've had but you never know where they might be dropping the levels. Thanks Steve they have closed the locks and going to raise the lake level to 54 feet was a press release last week, water is high, bottom o...

Re: New to me CMB

Steve it will be mostly a play toy in the Citrus swamp along with some backwater type flats fishing on the coast, most of the time there are two guys on the front deck/rake step along with a trolling motor so the weight of the BB would help balance the boat. too light in the stearn and they don't tr...

Re: New to me CMB

For the best setup advice for that boat I would talk to Tommy and, or Scooter at Diamondback because with a 2.1 belt drive you may overpower it with a big block. If it was me I would go with a 350 SBC or a 383 stroker. I have a 15x8 Diamondback with a 350 SBC rated at 330 HP and a Ch3 2.38 belt driv...

If you have a smartphone google some GPS for marine apps. They have some pretty good ones that will track you and leave a breadcrumb trail. You can even buy mounts to mount your smartphone like you would your Garman. Google Fly Florida Marine app, I have it and used it for a while in the Glades when...

Re: Polishing Airboats

Steve; I don't have to worry about polishing MY boat. I just crank it up each Friday evening and run it through the saw grass before heading into town for a "MAN'S NIGHT IN". Besides, the ladies that I pick up are blind in one eye and can't see out of the other. They are hard of hearing and are gla...

Re: Polishing Airboats

Simply buy white diamond from advanced and a buffer it will shine. Go for it!! I wasted about 700 dollars doing things like that. If you want a mirror finish you have to sand before polishing with anything. If you want it done right you better know what you're doing or let someone who knows what th...

New Bass regulations

I don't know about you but I think this is a smart move. Since we all have smartphones with great video and picture quality to show off our catches. I don't go bass fishing to get a meal of bass but I know others like to eat them and this will free you up to keep smaller ones. Most of the small bass...
