Re: Hope everyone is ok in Granbury

Glad to hear the report.
I'm assuming property, houses, boats, etc. are o.k. and undamaged?

How about tall650 and mstall650?

Re: Word around the campfire....

painter chic might some kind of upset reading that Has Been's first (and maybe only) boat is gonna be painted with a "high end rattle can." Open a couple of 5 lb bags of M&Ms and she'll be there in no time flat! she's in NY - out of cell/internet reach right now or she'd be on her way....

Hope your stay down south is a good and restful one.

I'm sure it's nice to be home.

Did BRAB give you permission to be AWOL? They're so busy with Has Been's boat
they probably didn't see you sneak out.

Re: Lake Jackson (Tallahassee) Clean Up

Kenny, Bill Coon, Papa Jack and their helpers, put on a great day - we had a good lunch (hot dogs, chicken and burgers) and the Marsh Hen's Burbon Balls. It rained all day but we had Kenny's nice big tent to stand under. And the cooker gave off some needed warmth. The temp dropped all day (it was 45...

Re: The BRAB memorial day run 2013

Guys If you want to go to Thunder on the Loup, you need to make reservations NOW. There are two motels in St. Paul: the Super8 and the Bellaire. Both are usually booked a year in advance. I know I booked for this year when I left last year. Grand Island is a somewhat bigger place. There are flights ...

Re: Show support for NRA, USF and Marion Hammar

Well, in somewhat true (maybe Tallahassee) style - we have found out you can vote more than once.
so, as they used to say" VOTE EARLY AND OFTEN" the other side certainly is!

Marion appreciates it and we all know she is the best lobbyist out there!

Hey guys Ms. Bonnie will be there and I'll help you get some local coverage. However there are two things to take into consideration about May 4: 1. That's the Saturday of the Osceola club's annual bar bq and swap meet at Overstreet landing. 2. It's also the morning after legislative session closes ...

Re: Favorite Vintage Photo's

I walk past that photo a hundred times a day during session. It's on the second floor, Senate side, of the Capitol. It's tinted in the way they did photos in the 40's and 50's. They can't be going very fast, one lady has her scarf on her head and another her sweater around her shoulders. I marvel at...

Anyone who knows Sallie knows NO ONE could even get close to her, her purse, etc.
I"d hate to see the guy that tried! He'd never be heard from again.

It's frightening that these spam emails have gone to this level.

Rich The Wildlife Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) just like most of the airboat and buggy clubs, university booster clubs, the NRA and countless other non profit organizations. As such, they are not required by law to open their books like a government agency has to. That being said, the first way to fin...

i'll probably regret keeping this going, but: the $25 went to a non profit organization and you get a tax deduction for giving them the money. The government didn't get any of the money.
