Also to high means a lot more noise I guess setting my motor at 5400 would be ideal I making over ...

Re: 350 sbc rebuild or build for more?

Re: Throttle cable ???

There is a metal plate you can purchase that goes directly under carb base plate. The teleflex throttle cable holder will bolt to it regardless of intake height everything lines up. Some also accommodate both Nitrous Oxide solenoids and throttle cable holder FYI I assume that's what I'm going to ha...

Re: Prop spacing from back board

Moving it wont change ground performance. Weight is weight and thrust is thrust. Moving dont change either but may make it worse if it changes distribution of all weight further back. Got a porpose then bend then back lip down at the transom. Want ground performance make more hp or drop some #! I r...

If within spec there is very little that needs to be bought. As far as a 383 there are plenty running out there for...

Re: Buying vs build sbc

5 grand is not getting you a dependable 425hp engine built right. What you'll get are shortcuts to produce the power to make you happy. MAS a great engine if you spend 11 grand. Just being honest. I've had seven quotes they've all been in that ballpark Other than mas which is 6500 do remember these...
