Thanks Geoff as for scuffing up the poly i ran it up and down the asphalt a few times now so that should be good. Guess i need to pull the rear motor mount out and shave some more off the top bushing so i can lower the motor some and give that a try.

Thanks whitebear My rudders are 24'' on center. Now for the jack only haveing that little bit of jack in it the boat has a ton of rock when i set it down on my drive way. Well i got a new alumitech hull went from a 22'' sided boat to 16'' and i also went to the AGI hull. The new hull is way lighter. The problem im haveing is the new hull just doesn't run the hill anything like the old one. I have enough time on it that the poly should be good and scuffed up. So i fig...

Im also building a new cage. Has anyone tried horse fence tractor supply has it in 12ga and what i like is it wraps around itself a few times instead of the other kind that is welded seems like it would be stronger? Would like to know how it holds up it cost almost double what the welded stuff does.

10-4 i want it to last and i wasn't sure how well the radiator hose would hold up. Ill call them up tomorrow and get the aircraft hose

So the boats down im waiting on a new hull so figured i would just go over everthing. Looks like i need to replace the rubber between the sump and intake tube. Now can i just use radiator hose or is that a bad ideal with gas running throw it?

The only down side to dropping your boat on the ground is that it bends the back lip and cause it to porpuse. Lately I have been dropping mine in where the kicker boat do. If there not leaking real bad sometimes you can spin the push rod tube and it will help. But if they are leaking bad your going to have to change them.

A 160 would push that boat good. My buddy has the same hull with a wide deck 160 on it and it goes about any where and its great on gas.

A little tip when i put my Foam grip on i used some of that 3M spray glue just shoot a lil down in the grip and slid it on. Makes it super easy to slid on and in a few mins it isn't going any where.
