Re: Pulled off a miracle

My o300a sat for 24 years, primed it with oil put an accelerator pump in the carb and have been running it for a year! Other than a few small carb issues it runs great. Good luck and enjoy it!

Carb question

I have a ma3 spa on my o300. It has slack around the accelerator pump shaft and is starting to bind the throttle linkage. Is there anyone in Central Florida that can rebuild this carb? Also is there any advantage to jetting it to a ma4spa? Didn't know if it would help performance at all. Thanks in a...

Re: Painting metal works automotive paint vs powdercoat

As soon as I sprayed mine every bug in the county came out to stick too it, definitely take a lot of time to get paint on all the different angles! But by far cheaper than powder coat.

Re: Registering boat

It was easier to get my hull registered as homemade than it was to get my new Carolina Skiff registered with all the papers from the dealership. I just told them I didn't have a title to it and had a bill of sale, about ten minutes and about $20.00 and it was done! But I got a very nice person at th...

Go on George Gideon auctioneers website, they auction all of the Orange County school board and other agencies equipment . I purchased a food warmer with humidity controls 2 years ago for 240.00 in working condition . I believe they have some on there site now .

I'm not sure what they carry in stock but try Metro steel in Leesburg off main street by the juice plant.
The other I know of would be Alro metals in Orlando.

Re: Pump gas and aircraft engines.

Well I filled my boat with Av gas this weekend to see if their was a noticeable difference. My motor is a 1957 0300a .,My boat has run fine since I built it but has always been very rough idling ,even after cleaning the carburetor. After starting it and warming it up I could hear a significant diffe...
