Re: Koolaid Corn for hogs

Grape koolaid and corn work, the best I've seen is old vegetable oil and corn. Just don't get it on ya cause it don't wash off!

Re: 1st boat is finally finished

Had a good day on the lake Monday, went to Lake George. Rode a little, did some adjusting to take out the porposing, and tightened up on the jack plates. rode up Juniper and headed back as the lake was getting rough. Got a long way to go but looking forward to getting used to my boat.

1st boat is finally finished

Some time back I read someone post about building your own boat, his comment was to tell your wife and kids you will see them in six months. Well you were right on! I have truly enjoyed the time building this boat, well maybe not all the ones with the tubing bender, but I can say its been an awesome...

Re: emergency kill switch wiring

I just figured that if your rear leaves the seat that you would want the boat to stop, I understand how it could swamp the rear if it was inadvertently pulled. New to airboats, thought it was a must for safety being inexperienced.

Thanks for the input .

emergency kill switch wiring

I am trying to wire in a kill switch to my mags. The only way I have figured how to make it work is to wire a diode into the ground. It works with both mag switches on but if I have either in the off position it allows the ground circuit to kill the other mag without cycling the kill switch. Is thei...

0300 bendix magneto question

I am trying to find a manual on proper mag timing. I have an 0300 the left mag was taken apart. I found an article on setting the internal timing, but nothing on setting it up to the engine. I don't see any timing marks on the gear. I know I have to set the crank to the designated timing, but don't ...

0300a been sitting

I am trying to find out if there is a way to prime the oil system on a 0300a. It has been sitting and I didn't want to try to refire it dry and mess up any bearings. Thanks for any info.

Re: Continental carbs

Haven't started the motor, carb needs an accelerator pump and packing for around it. Still in the building process on the boat and was looking for a way around pricey aircraft certified parts. Is there anywhere to get non certified aircraft parts,or an aftermarket version.

Thanks

Continental carbs

Does anyone know if there are any type of adapter manifolds to use a standard carb on an 0300a continental?
