Getting ready

Dang shame to be making these for friends to use this year! No luck with lottery , that's why I still have to work too! Guess that make me boat driver. Better than nothing.

Re: The New Wife

Well after 9 weeks and having 3900 kids and around 2000 adults summer has ended, time to get back on the boat. Thought I was gonna work on it at night but that hasn't happened. Sleep always seemed to take priority. Sucks when work interferes with hobbies!

Re: FL Alligator Harvest updates

Same here, put a deposit to begin with so everyone doesn't apply that isn't gonna take it. That way everyone doesn't apply for every person in the family hoping to get one drawn . Got to be a simpler way !
I applied for the same one as both other phases as well.

Re: The New Wife

From what others have posted its not the best choice for DD , but the motor was the right price. A freshen up and low end cam with the timing advanced and a distributor kit and time will tell !
Got a JD Square bender mounted and starting on the rigging now .

The New Wife

I have had my new Alumitech 13'6" x8 hull for a few months now. I have almost completed my engine stand and have started on my rigging now . Engine is at a friends being freshened up so hopefully will have it together in a few months as budget and time allows . As soon as I figure out how to add pic...

Re: Slick bottom Coating

Yes the wetlander is very thin coat, I have thought about just putting what I have on my flats boat. It is slick but no match for sand or mud!

Re: Slip-plate-graphite-dry-film-lubricant

Yes this is used on Car Haulers where you have metal to metal contact for the moveable rails, brush it on and it lasts for a few months depending on wear. Nasty Sh!!t to get off you when it dries.
